Design is almost a mantra today, but there are many levels of design. Mastering all of them is impossible and makes no sense. The goal is to extract an essence from them. Product design is a special form of design. Inventing, improving and developing a physical or digital product is a challenging subject. Technical sophistication and design standards must be harmonised. As a product designer, I see myself as a link between engineering and design.
